Tournament Rules

Cheating Policy

Any Two Cards has a zero tolerance policy toward cheating from it’s Tournament Directors (TD), Volunteer Dealers and Players. Cheating is defined as any manipulation of the game and/or the components of the game in order to impact the outcome, results, or standings (individual or otherwise) of the game. Examples would include but are not limited to:

01

Poker chips are only to be handed out through our Tournament Directors (TD). Accepting additional poker chips above and beyond those earned through food, drinks, membership, or merchandise purchases is not allowed. If chips are shared between players, they must be administered by the TD.

02

Movement from the original seat is only permitted through the TD, regardless of position at the poker table.

03

Impacting/influencing play – acting out of turn or discussing hands that may result in action in that hand will result in binding action. Verbal is binding in that action.

04

There are no age requirements to play at ATC games. However, there are age requirements at various venues so please check our venues listed.

05

All TD decisions are final.

06

Once a player is eliminated from the game/tournament, re-entry is not permitted. Players are not allowed to sit at the poker table once they are eliminated and must be 3 ft away from the table.

07

Players must show both cards to win (especially in an all-in situation). The all-in hand cannot be mucked and must be shown. In a different instance, the first player to initiate action (bet) must show their cards first if their action is called.

08

Players are not to eat at/around the poker tables.

09

Table awareness is the players’ responsibility. This includes but is not limited to phone usage.

10

Calling “clock” – action must be on a player for 30 seconds prior to calling clock. TD is required to keep a clock of 60 seconds. Following the expiration, action is required or the hand is automatically mucked.
